What’s been happening:

After graduation, I worked for a major telecommunications company for 10 1/2 years as an engineer and as a network supervisor. During that time, I married my college sweetheart, Bill Skallos ('76 Architecture) and started a family. After leaving the telecommunications company, I tried working for myself and raising our two children. However, I found myself wanting to be more active in their lives so I volunteered in their school and began the computer program there as well. Now I am a full time computer coordinator in a different small private school integrating technology into the classroom as well as installation and maintenance of all the technology within the school. I get to work with teachers, students and administrators. I am also an adjunct professor for two local university teaching computer fundamentals, computer forensics, and network security. Our two children, Fred who recently finished his computer engineering degree and Patti who is studying biology and mathematics with dreams of pursuing a career in research, are doing well and make Bill and I very proud.
